Today we took Joey apple picking for the first time. It was a beautiful day and Joey really enjoyed the apples!

11-Months-Old...

...and the dance training begins!!! Joey turned 11-months-old today! How did that happen? We celebrated with a walk with the girls and a dance party in the kitchen. As most of you know, Adam's dancing is usually a wedding favorite. Seeing that Joey looks exactly like him (or that is what everyone says!) he will probably be expected to follow in his dad's dancing shoes. Here is a clip from his first attempt...

Celebrating Daddy's Birthday!

We had a small birthday celebration for Adam on Tuesday night. Originally, we were planning on waiting until Joey's first birthday to give him his first piece of cake, but I let Adam decide if Joey could get cake on his birthday. Adam decided that Joey should enjoy his first piece of cake and he definitely did.

Luckily for Joey, we will be celebrating Tori's 4th birthday on Sunday and his birthday in just over a month. He has lots more cake in his future.

Spending time with Memere & Pepere!

When Tropical Storm Irene blew through she blew my grandparents into Meredith to stay at my aunt's house. My first day of work was cancelled incase of power outages (which thankfully never happened to us) so Joey got to spend the afternoon visiting with his great grandparents. He loved every minute of it, and was very interested in Pepere's cane from the moment he laid his eyes on it! It was a great visit and we can't wait to see them again soon!
