River Trail

Joey and I went for a run on the River Trail that runs from Northfield to Franklin. We stopped on our way back for a bottle and took these photos. As you can see from the sleeping one, the 6 mile trip tired him (and mom) right out.

Fun at the park!

We took our first trip to the park today and Joey rode on the swing at the park for the first time. It looks like he enjoyed it! We also played around in the grass. Thank you Lauren and Allie for inviting us!

FINALLY!

I am finally feeding myself with a bottle! It took a bit of trial and error to figure out. I guess the key is to not be holding him. Then he has to hold his own bottle if he wants to eat!

Blueberry Picking

We went blueberry picking at Surowiec Farm in Sanbornton today. The blueberries were huge and delicious (we may have eaten one or two while we were picking :oP). We went with the Baron family and had a lot of fun despite being bothered by the horse flies.

Lauren, Allie & Kevin came with us. Allie will be celebrating her first birthday on Thursday!

We can't wait for our next outing...until then I'll be on the search for delicious gluten-free blueberry muffin recipes!

Joey's first trip to the lake...

To beat the heat today we went to Bond Beach on Lake Opechee with our friends Kevin and Lauren and their daughter Allie. It was Joey's first trip to a beach and the first time playing in a large body of water. So after we (and by we, I mean I...) packed up just about everything we own that belongs to Joey we were off...

Adam took his time bringing Joey in to start things off because we weren't sure how he was going to do with the water...

It wasn't long before Adam was splashing around in the water with Joey!
