It's like looking in a mirror...(at least that is what they tell me!)

Every time people that know Adam see Joey they say, "Oh my god, it's Adam!" or "He looks just like Adam!" Honestly, I don't see it...at all! I don't think he looks like me either...I think he looks like Joey, which looks pretty darn cute!

I guess it doesn't matter who he looks like because when he is playing with me or his 28 years older twin he obviously has a great time! And a happy and healthy baby is all we care about! :o)

Trying out the sitter...

This week we had a trial run with Joey's sitter. The whole experience was a lot more trying on me than on Joey. Adam dropped Joey off on Wednesday morning around 7 a.m. Joey had fallen asleep in his car seat so Adam told Donna, Joey's sitter, that he could just stay sleeping in there until he woke up. Well, Joey didn't wake up until 10:45 and I was scheduled to pick him up at 12. So the first day went great for Joey, but he didn't really give Donna a lot of time to familiarize herself with him. I dropped Joey off on Thursday around 10:30 and Joey stayed until 4ish. Joey was actually awake for some of his second day so Donna got a chance to know him a bit more. There are three other little girls that go to the same place and they all love Joey (who could imagine anything different really?) When Adam went to pick Joey up all of the girls were asking when he would be back. Unfortunately for them, Joey will not be back until Wednesday, which is my first day back to work. (Right now they are forecasting a possible storm for that day...I can't imagine I could be that lucky :o) ).

Joey's first snowshoe adventure

Joey had a rockin' New Year's Eve. He visited his friend Grace Gross and both of them were asleep well before midnight. (Joey did wake up to see the ball drop.)
(I can't even begin to tell you how frustrated I am that I can NOT get these pictures to rotate!)
Luckily on New Year's Day it was 48 degrees so we took the girls and Joey snowshoeing. We went to Piper Mountain, but didn't make it to the top because someone got a little fussy.

Joey seemed to enjoy most of the hike. I enjoyed the workout. Having 11+ pounds attached to the front of me made me feel pregnant all over again.
Apparently, Joey got quite the workout too because he fell asleep before we made it back to the Suburban. Hopefully we will get more snow and some warmer winter days to go snowshoeing again!
